MCC Executive Elections – Call for nominations!

Do you want to get more involved in the MCC? Please consider nominating yourself for a position on the Executive Team for 2025-2026. Email afsmidcanadachapter(at)gmail(dot)com with your self-nomination by April 30, 2025 for one of the following positions:

• President Elect – Role: incoming president for 2026/2027, represent the MCC at CARS and North Central AFS online meetings, organize and attend monthly meetings, participate in committees 
• Secretary – Role: take meeting minutes, manage gmail, attend monthly meetings, participate in committees
• Treasurer – Role: manage and report on the annual finances, attend monthly meetings, participate in committees 
• Regional Representatives: Roles: bring forward regional content and questions, assist in organizing regional events, attend monthly meetings, participate in committees

  • Manitoba 
  • Northwest Territories 
  • Nunavut 
• Student Representative – Role: act as a point person for student questions, assist in student focused events, attend monthly meetings, participate in committees
• Communications Manager – Role: manage the website and social media, post events and jobs, attend monthly meetings, participate in committees

Note: You must be a member of AFS-MCC to hold an Executive role.
